What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a treatment derived from Ancient Chinese medicine in which ultra fine needles are inserted into specific points of the body to restore balance and trigger the body's own healing response. Many people find they sleep better after sessions of acupuncture as the subconscious starts healing the body.

How might it help me?
Acupuncture treats the whole person and can therefore be beneficial for a wide range of illnesses and conditions. It is used to alleviate pain and help treat a variety of health conditions….and is also wonderful for general wellbeing.
It can also be used in conjunction with assisted reproductive therapies to increase a couples chance of conception.

How does a typical session go?
At your first session your therpist will have a good discussion with you to find out more about you and your issue before deciding upon a suggested course of action which will then be explained fully and agreed with you. The therapist will then insert needles into the relevant energy points across your body. Some clients may also have ear seeds placed in order to prolong the effect of the treatment. Follow up sessions of 30 minutes may be recommended.
